The 69 participants in the Executive MBA are due to fly to Shanghai this week, accompanied by Denis Dauchy, Eric Labbé and Philippe Foulquier. The programme for the seminar was compiled in partnership with UBI France and comprises visits to local companies, meetings with representatives of global corporations (Mazars, Schneider Electrics, Parfums Christian Dior, Auchan, etc.) and conferences on local issues (e-commerce and retailing in China). A relaxed evening event has also been organised with the EDHEC Alumni community based in Shanghai.
At the end of the seminar, participants will be required to write a global business model report on an industry and firm of their choice.
The trip represents one of the three international Global Business Model Seminars offered as part of the Executive MBA programme.
The seminars are designed to enable participants to discover and analyse new economic models so as to improve their understanding of the issues raised by globalisation.
