Daniel Szczepaniak (EDHEC Grande École 1982), candidate for the EDHEC Commitment of the Year award
Candidate for EDHEC Commitment of the Year award.
Since leaving EDHEC in 1982, I have always been a firm believer in the importance of the network. I am class representative and my role is to maintain contact with my classmates and organise reunions.
I have long been a member of the association’s Board of Trustees, and in particular I helped set up the Lettre du Réseau, which came in the form of the 4-page newsletter containing concise information. It ran for around 15 years until it was replaced by the digital edition.
I also took part in various regional clubs as my career saw me move around, and in 2008 I set up the Montpellier club. One thing we did was to team up with associations from other major business schools, which has allowed us to enjoy some very rewarding exchanges.
Finally, I helped update the directory of graduates, which has been made easier with today’s modern tools and which this year will probably be issued for the last time in its paper version.
