1994-2024: a memorable weekend to celebrate the 30-year reunion of the 1994 EDHEC Masters class from Lille
On Saturday 23 November, the 1994 EDHEC Masters class from Lille came together in the city to celebrate their 30-year reunion. A day full of emotions, as classmates caught up with one another and delved back into the school as it has become today, followed by a festive evening sure to be remembered.
A warm social gathering
There was a fantastic atmosphere from the outset as the first arrivals in the morning met at Les 3 Brasseurs near the train station to chat and dive back into the city’s vibe.
In the afternoon they headed to the campus in Roubaix. There, a warm welcome had been prepared by the EDHEC Alumni team and the EDHEC Foundation, with inspirational messages about how the school has changed over the years and the importance of the alumni network for current and future generations.
Delegates had the chance to visit the new facilities – gymnasium, swimming pool and renovated manor – and were both surprised and impressed. These modern facilities triggered nostalgia for their own years of the school, while showing how much the campus has evolved since 1994.
New discoveries and old memories
The key moment in the afternoon was the captivating presentation by Bertrand Monnet, an expert in the management of criminal risks. This led to many questions and confirmed that the curious minds and openness of EDHEC graduates are very much alive.
An evening that reflected the classmates themselves: festive and warm
The day ended with a symbolic group photo, complete with gowns and caps, akin to the graduation ceremonies of today, followed by champagne and hors d’oeuvres put on by EDHEC Alumni.
In the evening the festivities continued in a bar and restaurant exclusively reserved for delegates in the old town. With aperitifs, dinner and dancing, the wonderful atmosphere reached its pinnacle. The most energetic among them continued to party late into the night at La Suite, proof that the energy and camaraderie of the Class of ’94 are still intact!
An unforgettable weekend
The next day, some of them made the most of the occasion to catch up one last time at the Wazemmes market or simply strolled through the streets of Lille.

Our warmest thanks to the organising team – Christelle Caucheteux, Stéphane Argoud, Charles Boillot and Julien Savino – for orchestrating this exceptional weekend. This 30-year reunion was a veritable ode to friendship, sharing and the spirit of EDHEC. See you again in 5 years for more of the same?
