Committed, connected, inspired: a look back at EDHEC Rendez-vous 2025
Each year, the EDHEC Rendez-vous celebrates the vitality of your network around the world. After a record-breaking 2024 edition, the 2025 edition confirmed the strength of the bond uniting alumni: 2,300 participants gathered in 42 cities, with a particularly remarkable level of exchange and engagement.
Although the number of participants did not set new records, the quality of the encounters reached a new level. Many clubs successfully combined high-level talks with a warm and committed experience.
Among our most memorable events
In Nice, the entire month of June was rich in events for the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC). A fantastic commitment led by Brigitte Maissa and the EDHEC Côte d’Azur community.
- The EDHEC Adaptation Days on June 5 and 6, focused on financing coastal regions facing growing climate risks.
Learn more about the Adaptation Days - The “Ocean Impact Forum” conference on June 10 with sailor François Gabart, co-organized with Waves of Change and EDHEC Alumni
- A festive closing EDHEC Rendez-vous on the Ruhl Beach on June 26
The EDHEC London club ended the 2025 season with a cruise on the Thames bringing together 136 alumni in a festive and committed atmosphere. On the agenda: inspiring talks on water-related issues, a presentation of the “Make an Impact” scholarship, a generous buffet and a dance floor. A friendly evening to strengthen community ties around the theme of nature.
The Shanghai EDHEC club found the perfect formula to end the season on a high note: combining substance and style. On one side, inspiring talks on sustainable business models; on the other, wellness activities like relaxation, meditation, or a workshop on essential oils to offer participants a rejuvenating experience.
Among the speakers:
Jie Xiao, General Manager China at New Energy Nexus, an NGO supporting innovation and the adoption of cleaner energy solutions.
Yiliu Pan, a young graduate committed to more sustainable content marketing.
In Lille, the EDHEC Rendez-Vous evening on June 12 brought the community together in the refined and friendly setting of the Jardins du Vert Bois. An exceptional cocktail, festive activities, live music and a dance floor set the tone for the evening. Attendees also enjoyed high-quality talks on climate issues, led by the Vent Debout association and expert Thomas Boudard (Imagreen). The event also marked the leadership handover between Martin Barbier and Cendrine Tabary at the head of EDHEC Alumni.
Towards an even more ambitious new season
Bravo to all ambassadors and country managers who made this great success possible! We would also like to thank all the alumni who “created buzz” on social media with posts encouraging their EDHEC community to join them on the big day.
The EDHEC Rendez-vous continues year after year to demonstrate its ability to build connections and foster meaningful dialogue. This growing momentum already excites us for the next edition. To all the engaged alumni: thank you, and see you very soon to write the next chapter of this great adventure together!
