If you believe it is important for each of us, in all of our uniqueness, to have access to the same opportunities, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation or physical capacities, then join us on 8 February and share your thoughts!

We aim to create a club that will bring together all of the strengths of EDHEC’s alumni and inspire them to contribute to a more inclusive culture in the long term. With respect for the values of humility and shared learning, its initiatives will reach out to our EDHEC Alumni community and to society generally.

On 8 February, join us to share your questions, expectations and ideas and help us build a programme of events that reflect contemporary challenges. This webinar will also be an opportunity to find out more about how to play an active role in this regard alongside EDHEC Alumni. See it as an initial contact to help you decide whether to get involved.

Whether this club interests you:

- because you have a keen sense of social justice,

- or because you believe that corporate strategy and management must make room for diversity,

- or to support the rise of female leadership,

... you’ll be very welcome!

PROGRAMME

To break the ice, we will listen to 3 keynote presentations outlining the new club’s scope for action and possible partnerships. The second part of the event will be dedicated to discussions between participants. We will ask you, as part of a small group, to help us define the primary directions for this new club and to suggest ideas for its first initiative, perhaps one that reflects an issue dear to you!

GUEST SPEAKERS

Hager JEMEL, PhD is an associate Professor of Management and Director of EDHEC Open Leadership for Diversity & Inclusion.

EDHEC Open Leadership is a research centre at EDHEC Business School dedicated to progress in terms of diversity and inclusion through the transformation of leadership in organizations. The centre also plays a role in mentoring schemes with a focus on gender equality and equal opportunities, as well as raising awareness among students of diversity and inclusion. By generating expertise and knowledge in these areas, and thanks to its links with the professional world and students, it can become one of the Club’s partners and contribute to its dynamic.

Consuelo SANCHEZ LOPEZ, Club ambassador.

You have probably heard of the club EDHEC'Elles? Its primary vocation is to favour the promotion and development of leadership among women in business. Based on requests from alumni, we now wish to overhaul this club and expand its scope of action to the various forms of diversity. That’s the background behind this webinar to get things started! Its ambassador will share with you the main directions for the club’s future initiatives, building on this past experience.

Adeline RÉGENT, Alumni Relations Manager, EDHEC Alumni

EDHEC Alumni can draw on the strength of around 100 diverse clubs to promote links between network members. To allow these clubs to exist, your Association supports the volunteers involved by sharing best practices as well as assistance with logistics, budget and communication. Adeline is your contact person for professional and leisure clubs. She will explain how to contribute as an ambassador. You will learn about all the resources at your disposal as well as the charter that all club ambassadors must adhere to (representing the community and shared values).
