Valérie Dassier (EDHEC 1996), elected e-commerce personality of the year for 2014!

The 8th edition of the "Trophées E-Commerce", at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, saw Valérie Dassier (EDHEC 1996) elected e-commerce personality of the year for 2014. Warmest congratulations to the EDHEC graduate and to all of the community who supported her nomination with such enthusiasm.

Last month, we told you about Valérie Dassier’s (EDHEC 1996) candidacy for the 2014 edition of these e-commerce awards. Last night, the director of e-commerce and CRM for Comptoir des Cotonniers and Princesse Tam.Tam was formally elected e-commerce personality of the year, as the awards were given to this year’s most innovative campaigns and companies. Well done to Valérie from all of us on winning this award! EDHEC Alumni was on hand to get her immediate reaction: "The support from EDHEC was decisive. An emotional thank you to all those in the school!"

Her background 
Valérie Dassier graduated in 1996 and began her career with the LVMH Group at Le Bon Marché. She stayed there for 12 years running, working as lingerie sales manager, fashion buyer and SAP project manager. The desire to be self-employed grew and grew, and in 2006 she launched a start-up specialised in decoration, jaimeladeco.com. In 2009, she joined the group Fast Retailing, working for the brands Comptoir des Cotonniers and Princesse Tam.Tam.
