Pierre-Alexandre SEGRE (EDHEC Master 1994) is Managing Director of SUEZ Concession Assainissement Sud Tunisien (SCAST). Aziz KAOUECH (EDHEC Master 2018) is the founder of Dooda, a start-up specialising in insect-based food products and fertilizers (which we told you about last year when he won the Innova Europe award, run by EDHEC, POLIMI and ESMT Berlin).
They teamed up and decided to bring together all EDHEC graduates in Tunisia as part of the new EDHEC Club Tunis..
Their objective:
Attract as many graduates in Tunisia as possible to create new friendships, a network of mutual assistance and accompany future graduates who settle in the country in both their professional and personal lives.
Their first challenge:
Achieve the maximum number of EDHEC attendees on 21 June to celebrate the first EDHEC Rendez-Vous in Tunis. To host the event, they’ve booked the rooftop of Dar El Marsa – which boasts exceptional views of Marsa beach and the gulf of Tunis.
About Pierre-Alexandre SEGRE
“I graduated from EDHEC in Lille in 1994, and my first job was in Buenos Aires (Argentina), and then La Paz (Bolivia). It was then that I realised that working abroad matched both my professional and personal expectations. I haven’t looked back since: Saudi Arabia, Czechia, Jordan and now Tunisia have all played a part in my career. I am both proud and thankful for what EDHEC has given me in terms of education, exposure to associations and other initiatives like the Chti guide, which I was closely involved in. It’s an honour to represent and showcase the EDHEC brand in Tunisia, and now to build a veritable network.”
About Aziz KAOUECH
“I graduated from EDHEC (Nice/London) in 2018 and went on to complete the graduate program at Mars before working for a few years in the world of consumer goods and tech. I have been fortunate enough to travel to many different countries, and I later embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure to create the food of the future with Dooda, which makes insect-based ingredients. It is a pleasure for me to strengthen the link between my school and my country and bring people from the network together who share an interest in both EDHEC and Tunisia! It’s a wonderful way to give something back to my EDHEC network.”
