_ghs4323_660EDHEC Business School has recently signed a partnership with The French National Navy as part of its Advanced Management Programme (AMP) intended for the future senior executives.

Recently, the 2012 Promotion of AMP followed a Management Seminar under high pressure in the sea - A unique one week training, on board The Dixmude. The programme was received by the Upper Officer of The National Navy. For Jean-Louis Raynaud, Manager of the Advanced Management Programme " This initiative provides an opportunity of unique exchange which allows the participants of AMP the possibility of drawing inspiration from other means of management.”

On the other hand, it provides a vital opportunity to The National Navy to create a strong link with these future Leaders of firms.  "The main objective of this non-standard training is to teach the methods of Management under pressure and in an unknown world, whilst ameliorating the knowledge of individuals and developing their leadership capabilities.”

"This specific study is essential for Business Managers who are forever confronted with management complexities - internal as well as external" says Jean-Louis Raynaud.
This unique training allows leaders to be calm under crisis and to know how to adapt to them accordingly.

"The seminar was very interesting and helped in grooming essential point of views for our professional level. Considering what it has taught me during the week, I think it will prove one of the most important pillars for constructing my idea about Management.” underlines Norbert Colmant, a participant of AMP 2012 promotion." This seminar is unique, because it allows to confront issues through collective decision-making in unforeseen circumstances. This process provides an opportunity for the men and the women to test themselves in the leading roles. On one hand it inculcates a sense of responsibility while reinforcing the managerial spirit within an individual. This gap is strong, special and should be nurtured with utmost care", points out Jean-Louis Raynaud. Owing to the success of the seminar, Benoit Arnaud, Director of EDHEC Management Institute, is a quite satisfied man. "The EDHEC Business School, he explains, is known for bringing the business world ever so close to its students through programs of training which induce acceptance of new ideas and tools useful in the long run for a firm.

With the Advanced Management Programme, we want to promote the ability among leaders to get out of their comfort zones and challenge themselves in unknown situations. It is there that they are going to find the means and experience to develop themselves".
