MSc Strategy & Organisation Consultancy Selects the Best Company Strategy for 2009
On 19 March 2010, Friday, EDHEC Business School will host an event with the participation of several French and international companies, among which Sodexo, Eurotunnel, O2 Developpment, GoAdv (Italy) and BSB (Belgium).
The occasion is the active participation of the EDHEC MSc students in Strategy and Organization Consultancy in a corporate strategy competition under the terms of a partnership with Prix de la Strategy (http://www.prix-strategie.com). The role of EDHEC and its students is key in helping the organizers from Noveria Partners shortlist and select the best company strategy for 2009. In parallel with the competition between 130 enterprises from France and abroad, Noveria organizes a university challenge, which allows business school students to work and network with real companies, while analyzing their peculiar strategies and approaches to the market.
Interact and Network with Big International Companies
In this year’s issue of the competition, EDHEC is represented by seven teams of highly motivated students from the MSc Strategy and Organizational Consultancy. The seven companies, which the EDHEC students have the opportunity to work with are Sodexo, Eurotunnel, O2 Developpment, Alfacam (Belgium), GoAdv (Italy), Webinfo TV, and BSB (Belgium).
Despite the busy MSc schedule and the voluntary nature of the project, the EDHEC teams are highly motivated to rank among the first in this competition. They are encouraged by the good possibility for networking and the ambitions of the school as well as by the positive response of companies, some of whose leaders happen to be EDHEC alumni. In order to help students live up to the high expectations, EDHEC provides continuous support to the participants, most notably through the implication of Prof. Denis Dauchy during his seminar on Strategy and Business Modelling.
The Culmination – 19 March 14:00-16:30
The students are already looking forward to 19 March, when they will present their work in front of the companies, organizers and an EDHEC jury. After an official lunch at 12:30, the company representatives will engage in private presentation sessions with their EDHEC student teams. These presentations will run in parallel with a cocktail reception between 14:00 and 16:30 at which EDHEC leadership, professionals and media could interact with the companies casually. The event concludes at 16:30 when the EDHEC Jury and the competition organizers from Noveria Partners will announce their choice of The Best Company Strategy and The Best Student Team.
