Meeting EDHEC Alumni’s pro & leisure clubs: A look back at the Welcome Party Paris

11.23.2021

We are thrilled to have been able to host around 100 EDHEC students and graduates last Thursday for the traditional Welcome Party Paris. An event that emphatically marks a return to physical attendance at events on the Paris campus. A good-humoured and sociable evening where participants had the chance to chat to volunteers involved in our network: EDHEC Alumni club ambassadors from the Paris region!

Around 20 clubs were in attendance: professional, sports & leisure as well as thematic clubs. Suffice to say there was plenty of choice!

--> What are EDHEC Alumni clubs all about? The clubs are run by a team of volunteers and supported by the EDHEC Alumni Association, and their mission is to create varied events (conferences, after-work sessions, guided tours, sports events, etc.) focused on a particular area of interest so that you can keep up with the latest trends in a sector, strengthen links between network members and make it easier to get in touch with qualified people.

--> You can also join the clubs that interest you by becoming a member today (it’s free!). That way you’ll be among the first to receive their latest news by email. To do this, simply log into your EDHEC Alumni profile on our website, open the dedicated pages for the clubs you’re interested in and click on the orange button “Join this group”. You will find the full list of clubs below.

--> If you would like to suggest topics or guest speakers for events or play a central role in the network’s activities, become an ambassador! Begin by chatting with the ambassadors in the clubs that interest you. You will find their contact details in their dedicated club page (see list below). Stéphanie Painchault, Alumni Relations Manager, is your contact point if you have any questions: stephanie.painchault@edhec.edu

--> Some clubs were created during this event:  the Agribusiness, Data & AI and Reading clubs. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with their ambassadors to suggest activities or club objectives; they’ll need your support to develop!
