This year, the patron of MSc Arts & NGO will be the Franco-Iranian designer and director, Marjane Satrapi.
In 2000, the publication of her graphic novel, “Persepolis” earned her both fame and great critical and commercial success.
In 2007 “Persepolis” was adapted to cinema and received the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.  In 2008, she received Césars for the Best First Work and the Best Writing - Adaptation.  In this autobiographical work, she recounts and denounces the increasing restriction on personal freedom against the backdrop of the Iranian Islamic Revolution.
In 2011, she screened her latest film “Chicken with Plums”.
A committed artist, she is a strong symbol and perfect illustration of the MSc in Arts and NGO, which this year for the first time welcomes an Iranian student.
