Lacoste and EDHEC: An Inspiring Collaboration for Tomorrow’s Leaders
On Monday, December 9th, EDHEC’s Lille campus hosted a remarkable event celebrating the partnership between Lacoste and EDHEC. Catherine Spindler, Deputy CEO of Lacoste and an EDHEC alumna (Class of 1999), along with Karine Loucas, VP Global Consumer, Market & Strategic Insight, inaugurated the initiative during the presentation of the Student Challenge focused on Lacoste’s international strategy.
Launched in October, this challenge brought together eight teams of MSc Marketing Management students, selected by Professor Ariel Hua, to analyze and provide strategic recommendations for specific international markets. The teams presented their proposals to a demanding jury, showcasing academic excellence and practical innovation.
The three winning teams particularly impressed Lacoste with the relevance of their analyses, their creativity, and their enthusiasm. Catherine Spindler enriched the discussion by sharing captivating insights about the countries explored during the challenge.
This partnership, made possible through Lacoste’s sponsorship via the EDHEC Foundation, offers students a unique opportunity to collaborate with an iconic brand. Embodying strong values such as boldness and resilience, inspired by sports, Lacoste represents ideals that resonate with young talents. Additionally, this sponsorship supports the EDHEC for All social scholarship program, reinforcing the school’s commitment to inclusion.
