L’Etudiant 2021 ranking: EDHEC International BBA rated N°1 in France
The EDHEC International BBA undergraduate programme confirmed its leadership in France by taking first place in the L’Etudiant 2021 ranking of BBAs and five-year undergraduate programmes in France.
The L’Etudiant ranking comes in the wake of the prestigious recognition earned from Challenges magazine which also ranked the programme n°1 in France in its 2020 ranking.
The EDHEC Bachelor in Business Administration proved its leadership once again this year, underpinned by the quality of its teaching and selectivity. This enduring strategy is aimed at delivering a unique student experience that makes a positive impact on students’ careers and society in general.
The L’Etudiant ranking is based on six main criteria, namely academic excellence, internationality, links with companies, access to employment, social diversity and academic level of students.
The EDHEC International BBA received the top score of 20/20 on the ‘academic excellence’ criterion. This score testifies to the quality of faculty in teaching and research, as well as to the engagement of professors in transmitting knowledge and supporting students in their learning.
It also emphasises the programme’s selectivity: over 70% of admitted students graduated with Honours in their baccalaureate in 2020.
EDHEC’s undergraduate programme obtained the official degree title of Licence from the French Ministry of Higher Education in early 2021, thereby enabling students to obtain a Licence in addition to their four-year undergraduate degree approved by the French State, and reinforcing the ability to pursue their studies in a Master’s degree in France or abroad. This Licence degree, together with EDHEC’s prestigious international accreditations, confirms EDHEC International BBA’s leadership in France and internationally.
The second criterion particularly recognised by L’Etudiant this year is the programme’s internationality. The quality of the programme’s international partners - comprising renowned business schools and universities – is a considerable asset and helps raise its global profile.
The programme also aligns with EDHEC’s research strategy geared to making a high impact on society and, through its teaching, seeks to further EDHEC’s 2025 Strategic Plan and objective of acting positively for the benefit of future generations.
“This first place confirms the quality of our programme and the excellence of our students originating from both France and abroad. It represents important recognition on all the criteria that contribute to the EDHEC International BBA’s relevance and which are essential for the success and future of our students and graduates”
underlines Alessia Di Domenico, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies.
