Candidates for the EDHEC Start-up Founder of the Year award

Grégoire de Scorbiac and Nicolas Drouault, who graduated from EDHEC in 2010, founded Canard Street based on the observation that duck served in the traditional fashion is the favourite meal of the French. Canard Street is a street food restaurant and delicatessen serving duck specialities. They opened their very first restaurant in Rue de Béthune in Lille at the end of August 2017 and it has been a massive hit! With premises of 102 m² and monthly revenue of €110,000, the restaurant has created 12 jobs. These young entrepreneurs also won the Grand Prix Unibail worth €600,000 and successfully raised €100,000.

They have many plans for 2018: a new opening in a shopping centre in Paris, new branches and franchise development as well as expansion internationally.
