Arthur d'Yvoire (EDHEC 2010) and Arcane for the EDHEC Start-up Founder of the Year award
Candidate for the EDHEC Start-up Founder of the Year award
Having graduated from EDHEC in 2009 with an MSc in Entrepreneurship, he spent 6 years with Google building relations with media agencies such as Publicis, Havas and the Omnicom Media Group. He noticed that a lot of advertisers were not satisfied with the performance of their digital advertising investments and so in October 2016 he founded Arcane with a former Google employee who had trained as an engineer.
Arcane is a start-up that develops artificial intelligence overlays on advertising purchasing platforms for Google, Bing and Facebook with a view to ensuring that each euro invested is well spent. The firm uses its clients’ product data and CRM to optimise accounts monitoring, improve the precision of targeting and update advertisements in real time to reflect changes in sales and stock levels. On average, it manages to increase sales by at least 30% with an equivalent advertising budget.
Arcane has now recruited a staff of 15 to further develop this solution and support more than 20 clients, including Carrefour, PSA, Celio, Richemont, Yves Rocher, Mitsubishi, Sensee and Selency.
