Ernst & Young: 2 Wednesdays to recruit more EDHEC student on the Lille and Nice Campuses
Ernst &Young came on March 9 on the Nice campus and March 16 on Lille campus in order to recruit more interns in France and Luxembourg.
Philippe Berteaux, EDHEC graduate 1999, Senior Manager, has worked at E&Y for 10 years. After the presentation of various jobs: Advisory / Audit / Transaction / Tax & Law, he highlighted the strengths of the firm and the perspectives offered to the future interns.
A climate of mutual aid and competition
Being an intern at Ernst & Young, it is above all: to work on real projects, to evolve in a climate of mutual aid and competition. The trainees follow the programme of integration as a junior professional. They benefit from the support of a mentor, who will advise and guide them throughout their internship.
Enriching missions
From the meeting with a customer to the writing of a synthesis, the intern is given the multi-purpose missions allowing him to acquire a very enriching experience. On average it is not less than 10 missions which will be confided to them with the possibility of moving abroad if needed. At the end of the internship, a meeting is organized between the trainee and the staff of supervising.
To be a trainee at E&Y, you need to deserve it!
Frédéric Huynh, Head of Recruitment, is at the origin of these half-days. The process of recruitment is very selective. It’s a real marathon: tests, interview, and group exercises … For the students, a lot of enthusiasm. Emna found the individual interview "less terrible than usually" and was able to emphasize her experience in association. The candidates were also able to exchange with a Senior Auditor who came specially to answer their questions and to talk about his job and experience at E&Y.
Assessment of this experience
For the team of Ernst & Young, the assessment of these half-days is completely satisfactory: the level of the candidates is very good and they are very motivated. This experience is to be repeated!
