Eloquence Competition at EDHEC Nice

EDHEC Junior Alumni organized the third edition of the Eloquence Competition on April 24 at EDHEC Business School. This final was held in front of more than 250 people and was broadcast live on their Facebook page.

The EDHEC Junior Alumni has this year organized the third edition of the Eloquence Competition on April 24 at EDHEC Business School. This final was held in front of more than 250 people and was broadcast live on the EDHEC Junior Alumni Facebook page.

This eloquent competition is organized with the aim of developing public speaking skills among students of EDHEC Business School. In the business, communication is essential and is a quality that deserves to be put forward in our students!

A pre-selection of applications was held on the subject "Are the dice thrown? ".

Of these candidates, 15 of them were selected and passed the second selection phase on the subject "I do not know where we are going, but it will be both wonderful and strange".

Following this selection, only 6 of them were selected for the final, whose subject was "I have nothing else to offer"!

The 6 finalists, Lorenzo BELLASSAI, Nicolas CROIZET, Justine DADON, Brahim IHAMOUINE, Theodore MANNINO and Thomas PISSAVINI had between 5 and 7 minutes to seduce the jury, as well as the public.

The latter was composed of Jacques-Emmanuel ASTOR, casting director, Pierre-François ASTOR, independent founding editor, Laurent GUIBERT, economic development adviser, Arnaud ROCHETTE and Sandrine DUFOUR, two members of the Board. EDHEC ALUMNI and Lucas GIMELLO, actor.

Among the partners of the EDHEC Junior Alumni for this eloquence contest, we count the Air France agency in Nice, the Hotel Métropole Monte-Carlo, EDHEC Alumni and the Galeries Lafayette Cap 3000.

After deliberation, Thomas PISSAVINI, EDHEC Intl BBA 2022, won the third prize, offered by La Fnac.

Justine DADON, EDHEC Intl BBA 2021, with the second prize, won a night for 2 in a Junior Suite of the Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo as well as breakfast at the restaurant Joel Robuchon.

Finally, Theodore MANNINO, EDHEC Intl BBA 2021, won first prize, an Air France long-haul flight for one of the destinations served by Air France KLM, as well as that of the public, which earned him the Galeries Lafayette prize.
