On Saturday June 8, 2024, EDHEC Football Club celebrated its 20th anniversary (albeit a year late)! To mark the occasion, the "old" team, which included graduates who had been with the club since its creation in 2003, came back especially to take on the "current" team, fresh from winning its championship and promoted to the Régionale 1 division.
This friendly match enabled the youngest and newest members to get to know those who have supported the team for several years, and the old hands to rediscover the pleasure of the pitch a few years later.
At the end of a match won by the current team with a score of 2-1, the old-timers, although not as lively as in the past, showed some fine remnants and quickly rediscovered their automatisms. Everyone then gathered around a friendly drink. This moment of exchange consolidated the strong bonds between all the EDHECs who have worn this jersey, and passed on the values of friendship, courage and sharing that are the strength of this club.
The reunion went on late into the night, with the promise not to wait another twenty years to repeat the experience, and the desire to repeat the event every year.
