EDHEC BUSINESS SCHOOL to offer MSc in Risk & Investment Management Programme
EDHEC Business School launches a new practice-based programme, the MSc Risk & Investment Management from September 2011 in London and in Singapore.
Introduced by EDHEC Risk-Institute, this innovative programme targets students, young graduates and practitioners who wish to embrace and lead the major changes that will reshape the investment management industry. Over 13 months, participants will alternate periods of employment/internship and part-time study.
Driven by shifts in paradigm, the MSc in Risk & Investment Management takes a radical new approach by focusing on asset allocation and risk management considered as key sources of added-value. The recent turmoil has led the industry to redefine itself and adopt state-of-the-art asset allocation and risk management techniques.
Bringing together first-class permanent and adjunct faculty and renowned investment management specialists, the programme questions the organisation of investment management and explores in detail every step in the investment process. According to Philippe Foulquier, Academic Director of the MSc in Risk & Investment Management the programme explores research advances in asset allocation and risk management and emphasises on equipping participants with a conceptual framework and the practical tools to design and implement new solutions tailored to the needs and constraints of investors.
This is a new step in EDHEC for Business strategy to diversify and strengthen its international positioning by offering an original and broad programme yet technically challenging.
