Edhec Business Angels is now embarking on its third year with the aim of stepping up its development and its offer. In order to meet the challenge we've set ourselves to expand to over 50 Business Angels (around thirty to date) in a bid to help even more young start-ups looking for finance, we need you, either as an investor (no minimum amount) or to point us in the direction of budding business ventures.
Pooling the energies and talent of alumni in order to create new businesses is a great way to give back some of what EDHEC gave you.
Don't forget, by becoming a Business Angel and investing in young start-ups, you may be eligible for tax rebates under certain conditions (IR and ISF).
Join us on the Edhec campus in Paris on March 13 for the conference on Investir dans une entreprise : devenir repreneur ou business angel, y aviez-vous pensé ? (Invest in a business: have you thought about becoming a corporate rescuer or a business angel?)
The conference will be filmed and may subsequently be viewed on edhecalumni.com website.
EDHEC BUSINESS ANGELS is affiliated to the FRANCE ANGELS network. EBA is open to all EDHEC and Espeme alumni, whatever their programme. The association provides its members with the details of businesses looking for funding, giving them an opportunity to invest in and support the development of their chosen start-up.
The scheme brings EDHEC Business School into line with the Grandes Ecoles network (HEC, X, Mines, Ponts…) that aims to offer privileged access to carefully selected business start-up investment opportunities. Selected entrepreneurs then present their businesses to their potential investors.
