Donor of the month: Jacques Guers (EDHEC Master 1980), Gold Circle donor
"It’s obvious!
Making a donation to EDHEC is neither a decision nor a choice... it's a simple matter of course!
Each one of us will invent our own story, our own motivation to give:
- for the generous, the funding of the EDHEC FOR ALL programme
- for the visionaries, the contribution to EDHEC's R&D efforts
- for the nostalgic, the memory of the rue du Port and the U Meurin restaurant.
- for the glib, the rigorous entry selection and the unrivalled quality of the teaching
- for the romantics, the friendly encounters at the school bar (or even more if chemistry!)
- for the accountants, a charge to the accounts 6238 or 6713
- for communicators, the opportunity for self-promotion
- for the '78 sailors, the sleepless nights of the Amoco Cadiz
- for the editors of Chti, the (not always) delicious consecutive tasting evenings
- for partygoers, integration or even disintegration evenings
- for short-sighted pragmatists, an arm-wrestling match at Bercy
- for enlightened pragmatists, tax earmarking to a chosen and familiar destination
- for the ......etc. etc. etc. etc.
For me, it's simply the urge to indulge myself...
Making a donation is also fun!"
