Developing Your Future Talent Pool: Talent Identification & Career Development Programme has kicked-off at EDHEC
EDHEC’s highly innovative Talent Identification & Career Development Programme (TI&CD) aims at helping our students to develop to their maximum potential, while preparing for international recruitment process. This year, 631 EDHEC students met with 96 Career Consultants who assessed them for ten key managerial skills. After Nice and Lille, next TI&CD sessions will take place in London and Singapore.
The TI&CD equips students with the skills to find their first job and ensures they are ready to hit the ground running once employed. It is a genuine career-booster that enables young graduates to move up the ladder quickly in terms of their post and responsibilities. Gautier Villiaume, Trade Marketing Director at Procter & Gamble in Geneva, and mentor of the TI&CD, underlines: "This quite unique programme certainly gives EDHEC students a real head start in their careers. Thanks to the personalised mentoring sessions, students can progress more rapidly and more effectively, and build up their professional network”.
The TI&CD helps students to be recruited on their first targeted job. Jiri Mil, EDHEC Graduation Class 2011, today Analyst at McKinsey, states: "Through innovatively simulating the interview process, TI&CD sharpened my skills and thus helped me to successfully pass nearly seven hours of interviews with McKinsey, leading to a full-time business analyst offer."
To ensure that students benefit from cutting edge expertise and advice in their area of interest, EDHEC’s Student Career Centre collaborates with a group of 20 international consultants, each specialising in a specific field.
The TI&CD was recognised by the AACSB as one of EDHEC’s best practices in 2009.
