The founders

We met in Lille during our first year at EDHEC and worked together organising the Course Croisière EDHEC. We graduated with a Masters and initially spent several years working in investment banks and insurance companies in London and Paris, before all deciding in 2015-2016 to turn our attention to more entrepreneurial projects.

Project origins

While having lunch together in late 2015, we realised we all had similar plans to create an urban paper chase. Our interest in the tourist sector as well as the Escape Games trend in Paris encouraged us to come up with a concept that could combine culture with recreation. So we decided to work together and ClueZ was born.

ClueZ: Paris’s first digital paper chase

Who hasn’t dreamt of being in a detective’s shoes?
ClueZ is the first ever digital paper chase that gives users the chance to (re)explore Paris with a difference. Equipped with a latest-generation tactile tablet, players use clues hidden in the streets of the capital to solve historical and cultural enigmas. The first challenge, a fantastic immersion in the 17th-century Le Marais district, is an ideal opportunity to visit the area in a unique and fun way.

The game is available in French and English. It targets both French and foreign tourists as well as Parisians and is just as suited to culture vultures as inveterate gamers.

You’ll find all the information you need on our website: www.ClueZ-Paris.com

Their ambition

Our ambition is to make the ClueZ brand the reference in cultural paper chases version 2.0. To do this, we hope to increase the number of itineraries on offer (initially in Paris and then other cities) so as to cater for thousands of detectives each year. We are also working to develop a commercial offer tailored for corporate events as we feel this is a major area for potential development.

Their advice for young entrepreneurs

Don’t be afraid to share your projects with those around you to develop your ideas, make the most of diverse perspectives and avoid making major errors. Choose the right partners. And don’t hesitate to make the leap: it’s better to start out a bit early and make adjustments as you go along than never to dare.

Have you ever benefited from the EDHEC network?

We benefited from the advice (and contacts) of EDHEC graduates who developed their own entrepreneurial projects before us.

What are your expectations from the network?

We hope many people from EDHEC will follow us on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TripAdvisor) and mention us to those around them.
Enter the game! It’s now possible to reserve sessions to explore Le Marais with ClueZ over the coming weeks: www.ClueZ-Paris.com
Many thanks.
