EDHEC Alumni : Can you tell us briefly how votrevinchezvous.com came about?
Christophe Gauchet: Christophe Gauchet (AMP 2014), 25 years in marketing, sales and management in a private company, and passionate about wine. Established VENI VINI VICI SAS in January 2015 and the website votrevinchezvous.com et   Philippe Dauguet, a wine taster who received recognition from several industry professionals at wine tasting competitions (Revue des vins de France in 1988 and Le Figaro and the Evening Standard in 1982).

Votrevinchezvous.com is an e-commerce website offering the following:- choice of wines to accompany particular dishes- ready-to-drink wines selected by Philippe Dauguet from winegrowers with expertise in producing quality produce - quick and environmentally friendly deliveries in the Paris region by moped or electric bike, and across France via Chronopost Express

What is your initial assessment of this entrepreneurial adventure?
CG : A business plan is a key element in getting the support of partners and suppliers. Not all of your partners and suppliers work on the same timescale as you. For entrepreneurs, time is measured out and planned to ensure the various stages of your projects succeed. Your partners and suppliers won’t have the same deadlines or time constraints. You need to plan for various setbacks. It’s difficult but at the same time exciting and motivating. 

Have you ever benefited from the network of EDHEC graduates?
CG : Yes, while looking for suppliers: bank, accountant, etc.

What advice do you have for young entrepreneurs?
CG : You need an impeccable business plan and should work on your sales pitch in order to get all of your interlocutors on board. Expect delays at each stage. Have a plan A and a Plan B. Persevere in spite of any doubts or difficulties you might have. 

What’s next for Veni Vini Vici? 
CG : - Objective 1 (1-3 months): improve the website’s visibility (user numbers and pages visited), develop our presence on social networks (number of publications, friends, etc.) and online orders
- Objective 2 (3 months): develop a specific offer for special events (weddings, communions, christenings, birthdays, etc.) 
- Objective 3 (6 months to 1 year): expand abroad (UK, Germany and Belgium)

What are your expectations from the community of EDHEC graduates?
CG : Winegrower partners. Advice: e-loyalty and e-media in general. Fundraising if needed to develop the business
