Alessia Di Domenico appointed director of the BBA EDHEC and becomes a member of the executive committee
EDHEC Business School is pleased to announce Alessia Di Domenico’s appointment as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies and Director of the EDHEC BBA, the School’s four-year Bachelor in Business Administration programme.
Alessia also becomes a member of EDHEC’s Executive Committee. Alessia Di Domenico succeeds Olivier Oger, Dean of EDHEC Business School, in this position. Mr Oger had personally assumed the reins of this programme in recent years with a view to undertaking strategic reforms.
The four-year EDHEC BBA offers four distinctive tracks: the EDHEC BBA in Global Business, the EDHEC BBA in Management Studies, the EDHEC BBA in International Management with a Foreign Language and the EDHEC BBA Online. Alessia Di Domenico holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid and began her career in investment banking with Merrill Lynch in London. She then worked for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for 12 years, where she held various positions and specialised in executing transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Alessia also holds a Bachelor in European Business Administration from ICADE in Madrid.
Alessia joined IE Business School’s Career Management Centre in 2012. She then moved to EDHEC Business School in 2014 as Manager of the EDHEC BBA Career Centre, overseeing career advising and training activities, and corporate recruiting events for students. Alessia holds Italian and Canadian nationalities. “I am proud to be named head of EDHEC Business School’s BBA programme.
Our programme offers students a unique experience extending to international academic exchanges and corporate internships, and primes them to kick-start a successful career”, commented Alessia Di Domenico. “My priority will be to continue developing partnerships with international universities and business schools, as well as with companies, with the aim of attracting globally-minded and outward-looking students capable of making a difference in tomorrow’s world”. “After leading a number of major reforms of our BBA in recent years, I am now very happy to entrust management of the programme to Alessia”, declares Olivier Oger, Dean of EDHEC Business School. “Our Bachelor programme is now a reference on the French market and Alessia has all the qualities needed to continue executing our growth strategy for the BBA in pursuit of the ambitious objectives we have set for it”.
