The Singapore Campus is to be officially inaugurated on 21 January. The event will mark the start of a new challenge for EDHEC Business School, while also furthering our international expansion. The grand opening will be placed under the auspices of Mr Heng Swee Keat, Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and His Excellency Olivier Caron, Ambassador of France to Singapore, who will deliver keynote speeches on the occasion.
This new Singapore Campus will be the base for the EDHEC-Risk Institute Asia, which will be developing new research programmes, and for Executive Education programmes : the PhD in Finance, training seminars for the region's financial industry and the part-time Executive MSc in Risk and Investment Management.
Established in 2001, EDHEC-Risk Institute has become the premier academic centre for industry relevant financial research. In partnership with large financial institutions, its team of fifty-six permanent professors, engineers, and support staff, and twenty-three research associates and affiliate professors, implements six research programmes and eleven research chairs focusing on asset allocation and risk management in the traditional and alternative investment universes.
