EDHEC Career sharing event in Shanghai on September 20, 2020

Yixiao FENG, EDHEC alumni 2014 Msc in Marketing management and Qi ZHANG, EDHEC alumni 2014 Msc in Global business gave insightful speeches on the topic of strategies on campus recruitment in China for EDHEC M1 & M2 students last Sunday afternoon, in shanghai.  ZOOM alive webinar was delivered at same time.

19 participants came to the event on site and 36 registered in the zoom room.

But only 13 people joint in the virtual room properly due to the reason of early Sunday morning at French time. 

Yixiao works as Human Resource expert in international manufacturing industries for years after graduating from EDHEC, he masters in the process and tools that company HR applying in recruitment of young talents, after his 45 mins talk, students gave very positive feedback on his practical strategies and tips from the HR perspective.

In the end of his speech, Yixiao sent out an opportunity of HR assist in his team to EDHECers.

Qi is digital marketing professional, in FMCG and fashion sectors in China. She shared her story at job seeking after her study at EDHEC, as well as how her industry running, the possible career path for marketing person in China.

After the Q&A session, students and speakers enjoyed free chat with coffee and snack.

The second session of Career sharing on Consulting and financial sectors in China is expected to be host in next month.  We hope the connection between experienced Alumni in China and young graduate or alumni who want to work in China (or Shanghai city) can be enhanced, by sharing the experiences and exchanging the opportunities in the alumni network.
