The EDHEC Finance Club, a professional student association founded by three EDHEC students, will from now on help EDHEC students to bridge the gap. By acting as an intermediary between the student body and the financial industry the Finance Club will give EDHEC students the opportunity to attend networking events, company presentations, business games, skill-building workshops and many more.
Wednesday 10th April marked the formal inception of the Finance Club. The professional student association organized 4 experience-sharing workshops on Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Asset Management and Internships for International Students in France during which MSc students with relevant work experience gave prospective interns insights into their internships and tips and hints on how to deal with admission procedures.
Later on in the evening, selected students then attended a networking cocktail with ex M&A Banker and current Julius Baër Vice-President Mr Laurent NATTA (MSc in Finance, 2005) along with his wife and other EDHEC Alumni. Mr NATTA, on top of providing students with precious career tips, shared detailed insights into the current trends in M&A and Wealth Management across Europe.
