Building and expanding business

Club Entreprendre & Business Angels are EDHEC Alumni clubs that run 2 types of digital events all year round. These events take place every first Thursday of the month from 6pm to 7:30 pm.

  • Building business
Financial and business model test pitching sessions

Work on your business pitches in a friendly environment: every 2 months, 3 entrepreneurs come to present their projects for 30 minutes (10-minute presentation, 10 minutes of Q&A, 10 minutes of feedback) as part of a test pitching session (fundraising or business model) to a group of graduates and/or fellow entrepreneurs.

Who can pitch?
Anyone with a project eager to work on their “fundraising pitch” or “business model pitch” (discuss their concept).
To pitch your business, contact: asdegabriac@gmail.com and clement.vincart@gmail.com

Who can take part?
Anyone willing to help an entrepreneur move forward.

What’s the point?
- For the pitcher: it’s always useful to take a step back and get feedback from a neutral audience!
- For the participants: an entrepreneur acts like a sponge and a mirror at once. Every idea and every entrepreneur is a source of inspiration and reflection on one’s own ideas. And you know what they say: “I’ll help you today and tomorrow it will be the other way around”

  • Expanding business
    Thematic workshops

They take place the first Thursday of the month, every 2 months, alternately with the pitchs tests session.
An opportunity to discuss issues that affect your life as an entrepreneur, your projects and desires and help each other out! It’s up to you to choose the topics to be addressed at each event. So join us for fascinating encounters and walk away full of positive energy!

  • Extend its social network
    The G2E interclubs

G2E is the association that federate 15 Entrepreneurship clubs from leading schools. Thanks to our membrship, you can access their events and training. To be informed, we invite you to become an member to the EDHEC Alumni Club or/and consult their website : http://asso-g2e.org/index.html

Group meetings: business handovers and takeovers

Club Entreprendre has a dedicated group that focuses on business handovers and takeovers. Its mission is to help those selling or taking over firms complete their projects successfully. It is open to:

  1. Anyone from EDHEC working in a firm wondering about the next step in their career path and who might have vague notions about what it means to take over a business.
  2. Anyone from EDHEC who has already thought about taking over a business and is looking for some encouragement before taking the plunge.
  3. Those already actively taking over a business with a well-defined project underway.
  4. Business owners interested in taking over another business (build-up or other).
  5. Anyone from EDHEC looking to sell their business.

The club organises 4 or 5 events each year on EDHEC’s Paris campus. These may involve:
- A guest speaker or a testimonial by a takeover entrepreneur or someone selling a business
- Networking (exchanging best practices, errors to avoid, outside contacts and advice, service providers, etc.)
- Contributions by EDHEC Resources or Mentors
- Pitching sessions to present business takeover projects
- Breakfasts/After-work sessions
