ENTREPRENEURSHIP : De Rigueur: a new brand of leather goods "made in EDHEC"
Recent graduates from the MSc in Entrepreneurship on the Lille campus, Adrien Deslous-Paoli and Jérôme Fagnet (EDHEC 2014), put together a team to launch De Rigueur, the fruit of many months’ work.
High-end products to reflect current trends
De Rigueur is a brand of high-end leather accessories for men, handmade in France. Their leading product, the BEV, is a reworking of the 1940s “Baise-en-ville”, designed to reflect current trends as a practical and elegant component of the modern man’s wardrobe. An iPad case and iPhone holders are also available to complete the collection.
A collective financing scheme for a promising young firm
To get started and to launched their brand, the team organized a crowdfunding operation online. You can read in more detail about the origins and high quality of the De Rigueur range. The team also welcome any encouragement via their Facebook page.
