Since it was first set up, the EDHEC Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) incubator has already supported the creation of more than 60 companies, and the number of beneficiaries continues to rise each year. More than 200 jobs have been directly created by these companies, thanks to the support of the EDHEC incubator.

An original incubator facing high demand
Over the last two years, more than 100 projects have been considered each year as part of the preliminary screening process. 30 were chosen for incubation each year, 25 of which resulted in new companies being founded. Even more encouraging is that the success rate of incubated companies after a period of three years stands at 87%, compared to an average post-incubation rate of around 25% for other companies in France. This model has therefore proven to be effective and is attracting an ever greater number of candidates. To meet rising demand, the incubator must now increase its capacities twofold at all levels: exploratory analysis, pre-start up incubation, post-start-up support, and the Cordées de l’Entrepreneuriat initiative. This expansion naturally contributes to wealth creation and economic development more generally. In a difficult and demanding environment for companies, EDHEC considers it a priority to build on its previous success and continue to develop incubation initiatives and offer original support, once again ensuring the School has a central role to play in the economic domain as a unique contributor to the development of skills and experience among young entrepreneurs.

EDHEC Young Entrepreneurs can be defined by 4 keywords: flexible, responsive, swift and effective! It offers support in the form of coaching and mentoring, directly addressing the needs of entrepreneurs and their projects.”
Jean-Michel Ledru, Director of EDHEC Young Entrepreneurs
