The Walt Disney World International College Program

Deadline: 24/01/2008

Are you a recent graduate or final year student who is looking for:

An international opportunity that allows you to gain experience with a world-renowned company that was voted among the top 10 places to launch your career? A study abroad program that could earn you a post-graduate certificate in hospitality management? A chance to meet people from around the world, make lifelong friends and have fun?

As a part of the Walt Disney World International College Program, participants can travel to Central Florida, USA and be immersed into a Disney-designed practical integration of scholastic and career training at the Walt Disney World Resort while taking courses and earning a post-graduate certificate from the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida. Students can gain real-world experience from a world-renowned industry leader, enhance their CV, meet people from around the world, and take part in a life-changing opportunity they just can't get anywhere else.

You will work at one of the four theme parks, two water parks, or 15 hotels that are part of the Walt Disney World® Resort.

You're able to choose four business management and hospitality based seminars from a series taught by Rosen College professors in two eight-week blocks. Each seminar would be taught for two hours, one day per week for eight weeks (16 contact hours).

You will live in fully-furnished two- to four-bedroom apartments with 24-hour security located near the Walt Disney World® Resort property. A bus system provides you with transportation to work, school, and social activities. An Accommodation Charge that covers rent, utilities, high-speed internet, local phone service, cable television, and transportation is payroll-deducted from the weekly paycheck.
