Half the firms questioned during the Apec Employment Survey reported hiring at least one executive during the first quarter of 2010, up six points compared to the first quarter of 2009. For Éric Verhaeghe, President of Apec, “employers are far more optimistic about the future. While it’s still too early to draw conclusions, the survey confirms Apec’s prediction of a slow recovery in executive recruitments, made at the beginning of the year."
