Nominee for the Socially Responsible Organization of the Year : SOS Entrepreneur with Bruno DELCAMPE (Executive MBA 2012)

Married with 6 children, a businessman (executive, founder, SME owner), Bruno DELCAMPE started the association, "S.O.S Entrepreneur" for SME entrepreneurs in serious difficulty, while he was studying for his EMBA degree.

"What can be more valuable in 2012 than entrepreneurs who manage to crystallise all of their energy to create economic wealth and jobs?" The association was formed to help SME business owners in serious financial difficulty and to end the awful impression of isolation… to enable them to once again create economic wealth and jobs. SOS Entrepreneur looks for the financial resources (via a Solidarity Fond) that will enable a business owner to be supported for 3 to 6 months, for ½ or 1 day a week, to set up an "Anti-crisis" action plan. The "Anti-crisis" plan helps the different partners to regain trust in the framework of the Loi de Sauvegarde of 2005.
“At present it seems like a sort of ‘mission impossible’ to help an SME faced with the prospect of suspension of payments because there are just so few local help structures out there… the lack of understanding for company owners in serious difficulty is one of the last hurdles that the usual actors need to overcome…" It’s a difficult task that requires bags of energy to help entrepreneurs who lose their bearings: "One company files for bankruptcy every 2 minutes in France; 95% of them end up in liquidation… and yet, 40% of them have a business model which has not yet reached the end of its lifespan!!!" This means many of the firms could be saved.
SOS Entrepreneur’s values are based on real solidarity between entrepreneurs, following a quote by Oscar Wilde: “The true perfection of man lies not in what man has but in what man is.”
The achievements of SOS Entrepreneur (since it was founded 15 months ago): Hundreds of confidential phone calls 24h/24 : 06 15 24 19 77; several SMEs saved when everyone else said there was no hope left; a Solidarity Fund set up to allocate Solidarity Grants to bereft entrepreneurs looking for "Anti-crisis" support; many interviews on news broadcasts (France2, M6, Direct8, TV Grand Lille, WEO), Radio (Europe1, BFM, RCF, France Bleu Nord) and in the national & local press (L'Expansion, Investir, Valeurs Actuelles, Capital, Le Parisien, Aujourd'hui en France, La Voix du Nord, La Gazette du N.p.d., Eco121,…)
