Mathieu Coeffier (EDHEC BBA 2012), candidate for the EDHEC Commitment of the Year award

Candidate for the EDHEC Commitment of the Year award.

I am very honoured to be nominated for the EDHEC Commitment of the Year award. I graduated with a BBA from EDHEC in 2012, and started my career with BNP Paribas in Canada, where I held positions in lending and financing for major firms. While in Montréal, I made my first real step to increase my involvement within the EDHEC community by becoming BBA ambassador in 2015.

I later joined Société Générale in New York, as part of the department dedicated to business relations with major American firms. I was also lucky enough to help run the Alumni network as fellow EDHEC ambassador in the Big Apple. Although I took part in the organization of events for Alumni from across all of the school’s programs and generations, I became particularly involved with two BBA classes on an exchange programme at Pace University, whom I took under my wing.

I recently returned to France, having been transferred to the team in charge of the subsidiaries of the same big American firms. And of course I still serve as an EDHEC Resource for students from our school.
