Marion Flipo will draw you into her culinary world thanks to her blog, Marionadecouvert.com
Just 24 years old, Marion Flipo has already been cooking for about twenty years. “My mother loved cooking and I was always there to watch the way she did things. I would sit at the top of the stairs from where I could see everything that happened in the kitchen!” At 4 years old, she amused herself by inventing cakes (her mother just let her get on with it). At 15, she wrote a small book (Les Recettes gourmandes de Marion), which sold about a hundred copies.
After being admitted to EDHEC, she joined the Chti team and managed the ‘Restaurants’ section. “We tested 700 restaurants a year!” During her last year at EDHEC, she decided to launch her own blog. “I want to share my passion, and give others ideas and advice. My reward is all the comments I get from my readers and the encounters with other bloggers." She tries to write something every three days, whether a recipe, the address of a restaurant or grocer’s, or a news update ... Each recipe is accompanied by interesting comments about its origin, its particularities and how to make it. Marion also likes talking about what’s on her mind, like her being admitted to the brotherhood of the Disciples d'Escoffier as a gastronome on 5 December 2011!
