There were nearly 20 pairs of mentors and mentees that were connected in person, by email or by skype last night for the launch party of the STREAM ( EDHEC mentoring / Espeme Alumni ) project. 3 new pairs were formed last night on site. Some mentors and mentees, living in Berlin, New York, Sydney and Uganda attended the meeting to launch live streaming.
This program was initiated through the work of a fabulous team of volunteers, our "mentoring angels": Virginie Malekzadeh, Catherine Champeyrol, Béatrice d’Herbomez and Thibault Million de Villeroy.
Dr.Ines O'Donovan, MBA 2002, PhD in Management Learning and Leadership accompanied us in its implementation. Ines is managing editor of the publication "International Journal of mentoring and coaching", with reference to the association, European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
Ines is director of Alamundo, which helps entrepreneurs attract new clients and build their business through mentoring, coaching and consulting.
Ines has advised several organizations to create their mentoring program, one of which being the European Women (EPWN) network.
Yesterday evening, the pairs of mentors/mentees met for the first time. Mentors and mentees will meet once a month until the end of July, carrying out the five steps of the program:
