The EDHEC Family Business Center is launching “Running a family firm” its first course devoted to family firms. This new course offers family members, managers, and board members of family firms a short educational programme in preparation for the transfer or acquisition of a family firm.
Good to know : 25% discount applied for all EDHEC graduates, who paid their lifelong membership fees.
Six modules of two days each will be held on EDHEC’s Lille or Paris campuses:
- Organising the firm’s governance
- Building the firm’s strategy
- Culture and value: The foundations of the firm
- Making the family firm a model for the future
- Keeping leverage under control
- Harmonising relations and human resources
This programme draws on such teaching innovations as business games, the EDHEC Family Map, and a self-diagnosis tool, and above all on testimonials, in each module, from the leaders of major family firms. Top-flight instructors, including professors and experts from EDHEC, as well as well-known senior executives, each contributing his or her savoir-faire and expertise, will lead these modules.
