I/ Identity
Nicolas KALPOKDJIAN (GE 2008) intercontinental track (Toronto, Shanghai) and MSc in Finance, adjunct faculty at EDHEC for the Hotel Management elective.

II/ Business start up project:
Restolib’ organises cookery lessons in real restaurants on days the restaurants would normally be closed. Restolib’s concept is highly flexible, whether you want to take part in a class with other cookery enthusiasts or organise a private lesson with your friends and family. The firm also offers courses on wine-tasting, cocktails and table decoration.
If you’re looking ideas for a present for a friend, a colleague or a member of your family, Restolib’ also sells gift vouchers for all of the Restolib’ lessons.
Restolib’ can also organise private culinary-based corporate events in its partner restaurants or in other unusual settings. Restolib’ adapts to your requirements, offering made-to-measure activities. From lessons on cookery, wine-tasting, cocktails, table decoration or vegetable sculptures to a ‘flash’ restaurant created uniquely for a special event, Restolib’ will look after everything.
You can find all of our upcoming classes, our offer and our gift vouchers on our website www.restolib.fr and you can follow our news updates on our Facebook page: Réseau Restolib
Phone: 06 09 05 50 22 or e-mail: nk@restolib.fr
Target market: anyone who wants to join cookery classes or companies looking for original events ideas.
Size of team: 3 people including 1 EDHEC alumnus
Capital raised: €12,000 seed money plus €50,000 subsequently, we’re hoping to raise €30,000 more with one or more investors.
Originality of the project: we’re the first company to offer restaurant owners a way to cash in on their closing day by organising workshops and culinary events on their premises.

III/ What would you like from the Edhec network?
We hope to find professionals in the EDHEC network who’re looking for original ideas for their staff or team dinners, end-of-project dinners, team-building seminars or end-of-year parties, and who would like to organise cookery workshops in real restaurants with Restolib’ (www.restolib.fr), suggest partnerships or ideas, and finally investors who are interested in cutting their taxes by investing in our innovative company.
