EDHEC: more international than ever

Today, every EDHEC journey is lived internationally.
A few years ago, going abroad during one’s studies was an opportunity offered to a few. Today, it has become a given, whatever the programme followed at EDHEC.
International exposure is no longer just an asset: it is an integral part of the School’s DNA. Here is an overview of what has changed in recent years.

A global academic network

Whether they follow the Master Programme or the EDHEC International BBA, all students undertake an international immersion from their 3rd year onwards.

To make this possible, EDHEC has gradually built a strong network of academic alliances with more than 195 leading partner universities in 44 countries:
MIT Sloan School of Management, Berkeley Haas, HEC Montréal, Bocconi, King’s College London, Keio University, Melbourne Business School, Imperial College Business School… and many more.

This network expanded further at the start of 2025 with new world-class partner institutions and an enhanced offering in Europe, Africa and Asia. Learn more

35% international students, 110 nationalities

This global mindset is also experienced on the Lille, Nice and Paris campuses.
Nearly one in three students comes from abroad, representing more than 110 nationalities.
As a result, every cohort benefits from a deeply multicultural environment, offering concrete preparation for a globalised professional world.

Programmes resolutely international

In addition to more traditional tracks in Business Management, Finance or Data Science, Bachelor and Master students can now choose pathways fully centred on international exposure.

The Master Programme offers, for instance:

  • The GETT Europe (Global Economic Transformation & Technology) track, which combines three outstanding academic experiences in Paris (EDHEC), Berlin (ESMT) and London (Imperial Business School).

  • The GETT USA/Asia track, starting in Paris (EDHEC), then continuing in Seoul (SKK Graduate School of Business) and California (UC Berkeley Haas School of Business).

The EDHEC International BBA programme offers the Global Business track: a three-continent learning experience with the 1st year in Nice, the 2nd in Los Angeles (UCLA Extension) and the 3rd in Singapore (Nanyang Technological University).

At the end of the track, students obtain a degree from each of the three institutions attended.

Each programme also offers international double degrees with prestigious universities. Since last year, the EDHEC International BBA notably offers a double degree with King’s College London, focused on Data, Artificial Intelligence and Management.

Whichever track they choose, students may keep some courses in French during the Pre-Master or the first two years of the BBA, or follow all courses in English from the moment they join EDHEC. The final two years of study will be entirely in English for everyone.

Global Impact Projects: meaningful experiences around the world

Thanks to this initiative, EDHEC students in the Master in Management (Programme Grande École) or the BBA can validate their international experience by engaging in an impact-driven project. This international experience, supported by the EDHEC UNESCO Chair, offers those who wish the opportunity to spend a semester* within a non-governmental or non-profit organisation, stepping into the shoes of a field volunteer.

This initiative, a true experience of cooperation and solidarity, helps students grow, transform and develop in new ways, strengthening their emotional intelligence (empathy, resilience, etc.). It also allows them to validate their international experience, obtain a Global Impact Projects certificate from the School and earn credits (30 ECTS for BBA students), or even validate the summer internship in the Pre-Master.

* except for Pre-Master students, missions last 8 to 10 weeks

A clear ambition: shaping leaders for the world

EDHEC is part of international networks of excellence such as FOME, QTEM and GBSN, which promote the development of innovative teaching connected to global realities.
These alliances strengthen the school’s international recognition and offer students various global mobility options, such as double degrees, certificates, academic exchanges and summer courses. Learn more

The success of this strategy relies above all on the strong relationships EDHEC has built with key stakeholders in the school’s target recruitment areas and in the regions where our graduates are placed. A country manager is present in each of these zones to ensure the quality of this relationship.

Two services based on our campuses then guarantee an optimal international experience for students. The International Student Office (ISO) is dedicated to all international students across programmes and provides services related to housing, visas and student life before, during and after their stay on the French campuses. The Student Abroad Offices (SAO) of the BBA and Master, meanwhile, manage the selection and placement of students going on exchange (outgoing and incoming).

What this changes for graduates

Today’s EDHEC is a school open to the world, rooted in diversity and connected to major global issues.

For the community of 65,000 alumni, it is also the guarantee of a more global, more vibrant and more influential network than ever. Today, 23% of our graduates work outside France, in 143 countries.

This dynamic is particularly visible within our international clubs. From San Francisco to Shanghai, EDHEC communities gather in more than 80 major cities to bring graduates together, welcome newcomers or exchange students, and build new projects together.

This internationalisation of our community is a real asset for those wishing to develop international mobility, but also for easily finding contacts or mentors to help understand cultural differences and business opportunities when working with companies in these countries.

Your EDHEC network breaks down all borders — join this dynamic yourself by sharing your experience within the clubs or through our mentoring platform.
