In March 2024, EDHEC Business School announced the creation of the Online MBA, an MBA programme developed by EDHEC Online*. Taught in English, the new programme targets French and international executives and managers commanding at least 10 years of professional experience and keen to advance their careers.
The EDHEC Online MBA gives participants the chance to continue to work, while training themselves in new leadership strategies and a range of major technological, environmental and societal issues that affect companies. The programme comprises different modules taught at distance, such as a specialisation track (digital innovation or sustainable finance), an entrepreneurial project focused on an international start-up and a consultancy project. The Online MBA also offers in-person modules, such as a seminar held on EDHEC’s Paris campus and a five-day Learning Expedition abroad. The 24-month curriculum also includes the Transform360 support programme, devoted to personal development and reinforcing leadership, via a mix of coaching sessions, workshops and meetings with the School’s professor-researchers. The goal: prepare participants for the next stage of their careers.
A programme built with EDHEC’s research chairs
The EDHEC Online MBA was created in collaboration with five of the School’s research chairs: the EDHEC Risk Climate Impact Institute (ERCII), the EDHEC Augmented Law Institute, the Foresight, Innovation and Transformation Chair, the Leadership Deveopment Chair and the Criminal Risks Management Chair. Teaching will harness the most recent research conducted by the School’s professors, focused on current developments in the business world, particularly green finance, climate change, sustainable innovation and criminal risks. In addition, each quarter the programme’s fundamental (asynchronous) classes will be rounded out with a (synchronous) seminar led by one of the research centres. This programme structure ensures participants can go into depth on the MBA’s different subjects (Strategic Macroeconomic for Managers, Marketing Strategy in the Digital Era, Finance & Management Accounting, etc.) and exchange directly with tutors and professors, and thus develop their critical thinking.
Lastly, the Online MBA incorporates numerous digital and innovative teaching tools employed in EDHEC Online’s existing programmes, thanks to the support of the Future of Management Education (FOME**) Alliance, an international alliance co-founded by EDHEC. The programme’s participants will notably reap the benefit of the partnerships forged within the framework of the FOME Alliance with EdTech*** companies specialised in the online learning experience. One of these companies – Isendi – created an innovative digital learning platform that owes its existence to collaboration with all members of the FOME Alliance, who, as part of this partnership, pool their resources, knowledge and expertise.
