Every summer in Paris and on-line, EDHEC Alumni offers summer sessions on a wide range of subjects – law, finance, technology, psychology, business development... – for students and above all for graduates looking to enrich and expand their knowledge base.

Cloud, Big data, Blockchain, Free-lance revolution, Mad Skills, artificial intelligence, Robots... sorry, no time!

The temporal saturation resulting from the combination of rapid technological advances and financial pressures at the turn of the millennium has become a key issue for companies and for our careers as managers and leaders.

We are gradually realising that the depletion of the earth’s resources, due to the exponential rise in energy and material consumption, is being matched by the depletion of the individual’s psychological resources under pressure from the hyper-exponential rise in communications.

To help you tackle the modern era with greater serenity, EDHEC Alumni is organising 2 “refresher” days.

Two days to slow down, take a step back and learn some lessons. We have invited experts from the network and EDHEC professors working on areas like innovation, well-being in the workplace, time management, self-leadership and technology, and we are also giving you the chance to participate in our workshops on career fundamentals.

Our keynote speaker and source of inspiration for this edition is Gilles Vernet, (EDHEC Master 1992), who will be discussing his documentary and book, Tout s’accélère !

This former trader who once worked for major international banks is now a primary school teacher, writer and director. Through his experiences and astonishing encounters while producing his documentary, Tout s’accélère, released in April 2016 to critical acclaim, Gilles Vernet reveals the roots of our race against the clock and solutions to cope. www.toutsaccelere.com
