Saturday 21 January, 8:30 AM. Some 100 ambassadors came together at Schoolab in Paris, a support structure for innovative projects in start-ups. Objective: combine forces to push the EDHEC network forward on all of the world’s playing fields!
For the 6th edition of Ambassador’s Day, which is dedicated to the EDHEC Alumni network’s fervent ambassadors, our graduates spent a day in the shoes of elite athletes. Welcomed by Olivier Oger, Dean of EDHEC, Emmanuelle Guilbart, President ofEDHEC Alumni, and Christelle Caucheteux, the Association’s director, our ambassadors quickly became aware of the scale of their network.
422 ambassadors, more than 4,200 EDHEC Resources, and above all more than 500 events organised in the four corners of the globe by these network enthusiasts!
What’s the priority for 2017? To progress even further towards the digitalisation of the communications and procedures used by our local and professional communities. We remind you that all conferences held on the Paris campus are now available via streaming and can be consulted on demand. Several experienced ambassadors shared their best practices for helping athlete apprentices to contribute to their networks, give life to high-profile events, and form a benevolent and closely knit community!
After a restorative visit to the buffet and a sample of some Pertois-Lebrun champagne, our ambassadors participated in an open forum. In teams of around eight, our athletes addressed topics they had themselves proposed, in relation to the general theme "In a digital and global world, how to engage more graduates and students in our network?"
A highly productive afternoon’s brainstorming for ambassadors and the wider network!
The energy invested and initiatives generated throughout the year by the people responsible for running our communities deserve to be recognised! 28 clubs and two ambassadors were warmly congratulated by EDHEC and their peers.
Congratulations to all our athletes: your enthusiasm is contagious and holds the promise of wonderful victories to come... Save the dates: early June for the Retrouvailles BBA and 15 June for the EDHEC Rendez-Vous.
