Crédit Agricole Nord de France, Amundi and Crédit Agricole CIB in partnership with the MSc in Climate Change & Sustainable Finance, developed in collaboration with Ecole des Mines ParisTech.
Through this tripartite partnership, hosted by the EDHEC Foundation, Crédit Agricole Nord de France, Amundi and Crédit Agricole CIB are investing in a pioneering and ambitious initiative with the aim of training future finance professionals about the objectives of sustainable finance and integrating environmental, social and governance factors into the decisions they will make.
Once again reflecting its raison d’être, which is to “Act each day in the interests of its clients and of society”, Crédit Agricole will use this partnership to help develop expertise that can tackle sustainable finance issues and develop students’ knowledge of the scientific and technical challenges inherent in the transition towards a low-carbon economy.
The MSc in Climate Change & Sustainable Finance, which began its first year in September 2021, is a multidisciplinary programme combining teaching of excellence in finance by EDHEC’s team of professors and researchers with a scientific and technical approach to the environmental transition, driven by the expertise of Ecole de Mines ParisTech.
Through this combined teaching approach, the future generation of decision-makers will be better equipped to decipher the issues affecting finance professions and thereby encourage a more profound transformation of practices.
This partnership also builds on the firm’s long-standing commitment to educating young people and creating jobs.
