The EDHEC Rendez-Vous, a key event in the calendar of the EDHEC community, set a new record as 1000 alumni came together on Wednesday 19 June at the Longchamp racecourse in Paris.

This exceptional setting was the scene of a festive and inspirational social event, allowing the different EDHEC generations to meet up with classmates and talk to other members of the alumni community and staff in attendance.
The 2024 edition of the EDHEC Rendez-Vous, under the theme "The Place to Be", kept all its promises, uniting alumni from all of the school’s generations and degree courses in this unique location. The lawns near the racecourse provided the ideal setting, further enhanced by a festival atmosphere and the long-awaited sunshine, which re-emerged just in time to crown off the event.

Participants enjoyed outdoor games and musical entertainment, a brass band and buffet dinner with various food trucks offering cuisine from around the world … before shaking things up on the dancefloor.

"The atmosphere was excellent, everything was very well organised, and the plenary session was really dynamic."

"The location, the availability of representatives from the school and association, the people I met, the food … everything was perfect. Thank you!"

Highlights from the plenary session

Martin Barbier, Director of EDHEC Alumni, opened the plenary session by inviting graduates to relive their EDHEC memories against a musical backdrop. He then introduced the evening’s key speakers, who shared their visions and plans for the future of EDHEC and EDHEC Alumni.

Anne Geisert, President of EDHEC Alumni and CEO France at Miele, presented this year’s new services, in line with our three pillars: Share, Care, Dare. She also unveiled the five strategic paths for the EDHEC Alumni association over the next four years.

One of the highlights was the award ceremony for the EDHEC person of the year, Emilie Sidiqian, Executive Vice President & CEO de Salesforce France, in recognition of her exceptional career and firm commitment to EDHEC. Emilie underscored the importance of diversity, a cherished value at EDHEC, and called on the community to defend it actively.

Emmanuel Métais, Dean of EDHEC Business School, presented the new strategic plan for 2024-2028 entitled
"GENERATIONS 2050". This plan aims to rise to the major economic, societal and environmental challenges we face in coming decades. "Our legacy for future generations depends on the capacity of businesses to reinvent their model to serve the common good," he said. With a budget of €270 million, the plan will roll out major transformations thanks to high-impact research, innovative teaching and strong commitment to graduates.
