Julie Houriez, EDHEC Master 2001, Head of Production & Development in Signes de Sens
Julie Houriez is a 2001 EDHEC Master graduate who established her career through professional experiences such as “Artère” (an artistic installation by F.Hyber in Parc de la Villette for the fight against aids) and the development of new target audiences for the Louvre museum.
In 2009 she joined in in her brother's association Signes de Sens to take the lead of the production and development department. Signe de Sens is an association based in Lille that aims to develop a positive and enthusiastic image of handicap, through the production of services that are designed to reach out to all. Signe de Sens sees handicap has an opportunity for innovation and diversity in fields such as education, culture and social matters.
Their work is highly motivated by the needs of family and professional networks which show a clearer vision of the market's demands, therefore allowing the emergence of new prototypes and ideas. They act to develop an original working method of social R&D, which they promote through a customized portfolio of products and services.
Through their actions and experience, Signes de Sens show that difference frames society through the combination of research, accessibility and social innovation.
