Entrepreneurs, discover the Founder.org Class of 2016 application process (for alumni who have graduated within the past 12 months)
If you are still studying at EDHEC or have graduated within the past 12 months and share a great interest un entrepreneurship, this message is for you.
First, watch the video: https://vimeo.com/118222338
Second, read the following about Founder.org Class of 2016 application process for EDHEC MBA, Masters, Bachelors students and all 2014 alumni:
- FOUNDER.org is looking for innovators who are looking to solve big problems and create impactful companies. We don't have a particular industry focus. To get a a sense of the types of companies in our program this year, see https://www.founder.org/home/companies/class-of-2015/
Applications consist of either a pitch deck or a written business plan (slide decks preferred). We focus on content rather than fancy design. Applications are submitted at https://www.founder.org/home/apply/
We score all submissions based on our eight dimensions. For an idea of what we look to be covered in the decks, see https://www.founder.org/home/about/faqs/
All submissions will receive feedback from someone on our executive team. This feedback can be used to help founders prepare for a live presentation.
As far as stage of development, the company applying need not be much more advanced than a strong idea and the beginnings of a team we feel can execute on the vision. So even though we will score the presentations along the eight dimensions, the Idea and Team dimensions are the most important in our decision making process. We like to see at least some thought process around the other six dimensions, but we encourage founders to apply regardless of where there are in this process.
The competition is open to all students at our partner universities and alumni who have graduated within the past 12 months.
Once an application has been submitted, we will review and post our feedback, which can be viewed by the founders. If the idea seems like a good fit for the program, the founders will receive an email asking to set up a 30 minute appointment to pitch live (virtually).
We originally were targeting March 18 for EDHEC presentations, but we decided to open up more days throughout March and the beginning of April to give students more time. Our overall deadline has been extended from April 15 to April 30 (not yet updated on our website), though we still encourage people to apply as early as feasible.
Third, please don't hesitate to contact me with questions. We are looking forward to reviewing the EDHEC applications!
