On November 14th, two representatives from Société Générale, including a former EDHEC student, presented General Inspection careers and opportunities on our Nice campus. Some interesting facts mentioned during the session include:
- Each year, around 30 new positions are made available. Final hires are selected from among a pool of about 1500 applicants!
- Between 2 and 4 EDHEC graduates join the programme each year.
- Currently, 40% of their employees are women but they are trying to get to 50%. So this can be a good opportunity for female candidates.
- Also, while the majority of the employees are French, they do recruit other nationalities. Fluent French is a plus but not necessary. And they take in all kind of profiles: finance, administration, management, etc.

- New hires can join in Sept 2012 or Jan 2013
- Initial salary is around 48,000 Euros.
