Shanghai | 3 reasons that will make our Shanghai community thrive in 2019
EDHEC is on 2019 Hukou list
Hukou is like a permit issued by Shanghai Municipal authority to Chinese citizen who want to purchase house/apartment and send their children to schools in Shanghai. For non-shanghai native, they have to apply for a Hukou to settle down in Shanghai, as most of our Alumni do.
In order to attract young talents work and live in Shanghai, Shanghai Hukou office started to make a List of top Oversea Universities/Schools in the world, and welcome the alumni from the listed universities to have Hukou in Shanghai.
Hukou List is based on several rankings (QS, Times Higher Education, Shanghai Jiaotong University etc), and for Business Schools, the Hukou services in Shanghai only take QS World University Rankings by Subject: Business & Management Studies as reference.
EDHEC is on 2019 list among INSEAD, HEC, ESSEC and Grenoble. This a very positive impact on EDHEC’s branding in China.
