An Amazon Pathways program candidate begins as a front-line manager in either a Fulfillment Center (FC) or Customer Service (CS) Center. As front-line managers, Pathways leaders have an opportunity to develop a people-focused leadership style, while mastering the tools, processes and operations culture that have created the most customer centric company on Earth. This includes responsibility for the delivery of results across several departments, while driving a culture of continuous improvement and overseeing the leadership development of front-line Area Managers. The expectation of Pathways is to earn your promotion to a Senior Operations Manager position, with operational and financial responsibility for a business unit within a fulfillment center including the ownership to create and execute an operational budget.

Within 3-4 years of starting the program, many Pathways participants say they have leadership experience twice that of their peers from the same class. For over 10 years, the Amazon Pathways program has attracted innovative, talented leaders who are now highly influential Senior Leaders and Executives in critical areas of Amazon's business, in locations all over the world. Candidate Requirements:

MBA or MSc in Logistics/Operations/Engineering or similar is required, from a leading EU University or Business School
• Significant previous experience in operational logistics/supply chain, manufacturing, transportation, general management or engineering role
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong people management capability, from a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Strong oral and written communication
• Strong analytical skills, including setting, monitoring and improving KPIs and other metrics
• Sound business judgment
• Experience supporting customers internally and externally
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen techniques desirable but not essential   Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
